"'Humble,'" said Mr. Zuckerman. "Now isn't that just the word for Wilbur!"

A MESSAGE FROM DR. OATES:

Be sure to wear your favorite team jersey or t-shirt on Friday to celebrate Super Bowl LI!

VALENTINES' DAY GUIDELINES: Many classrooms will be celebrating the Valentine Holiday with a party of some sort. Please keep in mind that Ridgewood School District Food Policy has clear guidelines that help to keep our students healthy while acknowledging that eating some sweet treats is fun! There should be a healthy snack if a sweet snack is to be served. Additionally, valentines with candy attached cannot be distributed. We have children who are allergic to different kinds of foods, are diabetic, or cannot tolerate gluten. Thank you for understanding. We want everyone to enjoy the holiday!

KINDNESS DRIVE FOR FEBRUARY:  Next month we are collecting cans of meat (tuna fish, Spam etc.) for the Ridgewood Social Services Food Pantry.  The collection ends on February 9th and I invite everyone to send in at least one can.  Your children love putting their can in the bucket and getting a high five from me each month!
Fondly,
Dr. Oates

Thank you,

Troop 4185
